When she invested in her first digital SLR, Amanda rekindled a passion for photography that began years ago with a high school black and white film class. She soon realized how many photos she had missed during her college years, when books, class, and horses took up most of her time. Amanda has since found that photography is the ideal escape from office life, and she enjoys exploring her vast backyard of Washington, D.C. with a camera almost always in hand.
